GoodKeeping

About

A clearer monthly bookkeeping workflow.

We built GoodKeeping for small businesses and bookkeeping operators who need statements, transactions, follow-ups, and month-end readiness in one disciplined rhythm—not another pile of disconnected files.

How we operate the product

GoodKeeping is designed around a monthly cockpit: less chasing statements across inboxes, a clearer path from intake to review to follow-up, and AI that proposes and flags—not replaces—human judgment. We assume small businesses and bookkeeping operators are doing real work under deadlines, so visibility and status matter as much as raw features.

Why we built it

Bookkeeping rarely fails on a single missing feature—it fails when the monthly rhythm fragments across tools and messages. We wanted one disciplined place where teams see what arrived, what needs review, what is waiting on a client, and whether the month is actually ready for approval and reporting—without pretending software replaces professional accountants.

What we believe

Less chasing, more progress

When work lives in inboxes and downloads, the month slips. GoodKeeping concentrates intake, review, and follow-up so the team spends time on judgment—not scavenger hunts.

Visibility before the deadline

Month-end should not be a surprise. Dashboards and close-readiness cues show what is done, what is pending, and what still needs a client answer.

AI assists, humans decide

Suggested categories and exception flags speed up review. Approvals and policy stay with your business and accounting partners.

How we think about the monthly cycle

  1. 1. Collect

Statements and source documents land in one controlled intake.

  2. 2. Organize & review

Transactions are categorized and exceptions are surfaced for your team.

  3. 3. Follow up

Missing context becomes tracked work—not lost threads.

  4. 4. Close & report

When review is complete, the month is ready for approval and reporting outputs.
